CAMPO NORTE
Working as a team,
with passion and commitment.
Our story
Campo Norte S.A was founded in 1977, acquiring the first 700 acres in Uruguay in the area of Santa Isabel, in the city of Young, of Río Negro Department.
It was its founder who donated the land of Santa Isabel rural school located at the entrance of the company's main establishment, La Totora (Km 303 national route No. 3).
The company has supported Uruguay and its people, continued its investments in the agricultural sector of the country in the different areas that comprise it and developed a work team that has been walking hand in hand with the founding family until today.

Our work
Genetics
Seeking to add value to the livestock business and using our experience of many years in genetic development in the HOLANDO breed, in 2020, we started an embryo transfer program, accessing world-class genetics in the BRANGUS and ABERDEEN ANGUS breeds.
Cattle Raising
As a result of an agricultural-livestock rotation that seeks to be environmentally sustainable over time and an important area of forestry exploitation, the possibility of complementing these three areas with a pasture phase arises, developing the livestock area.
Dairy
We have been producing milk for more than thirty years. The history of the dairy farm in Campo Norte has gone through different stages, until it stabilized in a pastoral dairy farm, with an significant percentage of the diet based on pasture and supplementing the diet with silage and grain according to the available pasture supply.
Agriculture
Convinced of the complementarity and synergy between the different productive areas, we grow and evolve through strategic alliances with local partners, different agricultural crops with a strong focus on: Productivity, Sustainability and Flexibility.
Forestry
The company’s forestry activity is very relevant; most of the area is covered by eucalyptus for pulp and a smaller area by poplars for different purposes.
